Leisure activities in New York
Our school in New York offers a rich and varied activity programme including 2 day visits to Boston and Washington
New York is a city which needs no introduction; students already know about its famous skyline, Central Park, Wall Street, Broadway and inhabitants from every walk of life and corner of the world. Not so much a ‘melting pot’, but a ‘salad bowl’ of cultures, colours and sounds. There’s no other city like this in America or the world. The absolute must-sees in NY are the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge and Rockefeller Center. Students can choose to go for a picnic and relax in Central Park or go to visit the numerous museums in Manhattan such as the Met, the Guggenheim or the MoMa. Shopaholics will go crazy on Fifth Avenue and in the huge shopping centres like Macy’s and Bloomingdales.
